Advancement Professionals' Monthly Virtual Roundtable

Tuesdays at 9:00am CT / 10:00am ET

Target Audience: Advancement, Development, and Philanthropy professionals with all levels of experience

Description: This roundtable will create space for advancement, development, and philanthropy professionals to connect over goals and challenges, generate new ideas, and create a circle of trusted colleagues for the long term. Topics will vary and be based in part on the needs and ideas of attendees. Guest facilitators will join each month, adding a layer of expertise and sharpening each conversation. Roundtables will take place monthly over Zoom. Participants can join on any of the dates; attendance is not required for the full series.

About Our Facilitator: 

Dennis Ring is the current Director of Athletic Fundraising at Rhodes College in Memphis, TN.  With a proven track record as a teacher, coach, athletic director, development director, and foundation director, Dennis is a valued thought partner to many.  His diverse experiences in the independent school world includes judging the 2024 CASE Awards for Giving Day videos, presenting at CASE/NAIS on creating corporate sponsorship programs, and leading roundtables on topics such as segmentation for stewardship.  His commitment to a donor-based stewardship approach through proven strategies helped colleagues implement effective strategies. Years of development work have allowed Dennis to build a large network of diverse thinking professionals who will be asked to attend these monthly meetings and share their expertise. Dennis is married to Dr. Kristen Ring, President of Hutchison School in Memphis.  They have three children: Reilly, a 2023 graduate of the University of Tennessee; Colby, Class of 2026 at the University of Alabama; and Samantha, a Class of 2026 Hutchison student.

TAIS Board-Approved Cancellation Policy

Attendees will receive a full refund for an in-person event if they cancel up to three weeks prior to the event and a 50% refund up to two weeks before the event. Refunds are not possible after two weeks prior to the event due to the costs incurred for food orders and other administrative and setup fees. All refunds will reflect a 15% administration fee.
