AI in the Classroom: Monthly Virtual Roundtable Target Audience: Classroom teachers 5-12, Learning Support, Librarians Description: This roundtable will create space for teachers and learning supports to think practically about the possibilities with AI in the classroom. Kollin Falk, a middle school teacher at Hutchison School, will facilitate conversations where attendees will find and share AI resources, collaborate on applications, and refine their practices. Emphasizing AI as both a means for student engagement and supportive of instructional design, this roundtable will be inspired by Kollin's extensive classroom practice with AI but shaped around the needs and curiosities of attendees. Join this virtual learning community to sharpen your practices with AI, connect over new ideas, and expand your professional network. Roundtables will take place monthly over Zoom. Participants can join on any of the dates; attendance is not required for the full series. About Our Facilitator: Kollin Falk is an innovative educator with a passion for integrating cutting-edge technologies into the classroom to enhance student learning experiences. As a seventh grade Social Science teacher at Hutchison School, Kollin has dedicated his career to maximizing student outcomes through the strategic use of new tools and techniques. Specializing in the seamless integration of AI and other emerging technologies, Kollin is at the forefront of educational innovation. By harnessing the power of AI, he creates dynamic and engaging learning environments that inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity among his students.

REGISTER HERETAIS Board-Approved Cancellation Policy Attendees will receive a full refund for an in-person event if they cancel up to three weeks prior to the event and a 50% refund up to two weeks before the event. Refunds are not possible after two weeks prior to the event due to the costs incurred for food orders and other administrative and setup fees. All refunds will reflect a 15% administration fee. |
