Neurodivergence-Informed Schools Mini-ConferenceApril 30, 2025 | Roberts Academy and Dyslexia Center, Nashville, Tennessee The Neurodivergence-Informed Schools Mini-Conference explores student-centered school design, math and language interventions, behavior support systems, and evidence-based strategies for managing anxiety and processing challenges. The event includes keynote addresses, a Family Partners Seminar, research-based and practice-based breakout sessions, and a culminating workshop to help educators best harness the rich diversity of their students' needs. Keynote Speaker![]() Managing Director, MehtaCognition Allen Broyles is an experienced senior leader and educator with a proven track record of designing and building innovative schools, initiatives and programs that foster competency-based learning, equity and inclusion, and data-driven decision making. Allen has presented and consulted at numerous regional, national, and international conferences and schools on the topics of applying neuroscience to teaching and learning; differentiation; executive functions; and diversity. equity and inclusion. Allen is a faculty member of NAIS's Diversity Leadership Institute, has served on the national board of directors for the Learning Disabilities Association of America, and is a faculty member of the Institute for New Teachers at SAIS. Prior to his role at MehtaCognition, Allen held several senior leadership positions in schools, including Assistant Head of School at The Children's School in Atlanta, Assistant Head of School of The Howard School in Atlanta, and Founding Director of The Howard Institute in Atlanta.
![]() TAIS Board-Approved Cancellation PolicyAttendees will receive a full refund for an in-person conference if they cancel up to six weeks prior to the event and a 50% refund up to four weeks before the event. Refunds are not possible after four weeks prior to the event due to the costs incurred for food orders, hotel contracts, venue costs, and other administrative and setup fees. All refunds will reflect a 15% administration fee. |
