Barbara Daush (2016)

Barbara is well-known in the independent school community having served as President of St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School in Memphis for 22 years. During her tenure, she increased enrollment by an impressive 45% and transformed the campus by leading two significant capital campaigns that earned the school national recognition.

Previously, Barbara served as an administrator at Hutchison School, as well as a teacher, guidance counselor, and administrator at Grace-St. Luke’s Episcopal School and Lausanne School. Most recently, Barbara served as a Regional Development Officer at the University of Mississippi.

Barbara has held innumerable leadership positions throughout her career in a variety of boards and associations, including Chair of the Board of Trustees and Chair of the Accreditation Committee at the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS), Past President of the Tennessee Association of Independent Schools, and Past President of the Memphis Association of Independent Schools.
