TAIS believes our Annual Conference is an important component of our member schools’ professional development because of the quality and variety of the sessions as well as the opportunity for community- and relationship-building. We rely on and champion the expertise of faculty and staff at our member schools and feel there is great advantage in schools bringing their whole faculty to the conference. We are intentional in keeping our prices affordable but also recognize that schools’ budgets vary. We are therefore committed to offering discounts and scholarships that align with the value we place on member-school presenters, bringing large groups to the conference, and ensuring all of our schools have access to the conference.

Pre-Conference Event and Heads' Retreat

 

The 2025 Annual Conference offers exciting layers of engagement with options for a pre-conference "Curriculum Reimagined" cohort launch event on Sunday, November 2nd, and the Annual Heads' Retreat on Monday, November 3rd. Heads' Retreat tickets and tickets for the Curriculum Reimagined pre-conference event must be purchased separately and cannot be included in group ticket purchases. HeadsRetreat ticket purchase covers attendance at the Annual Conference on Sunday followed by the HeadsRetreat on Monday. A ticket for the Curriculum Reimagined Cohort Pre-Conference event can be bundled to include steeply discounted, full access to the Annual Conference on Sunday and Monday, November 2nd 3rd.

TAIS is grateful for the work of Administrator Services and Teacher Services Committee members and TAIS Liaisons whose efforts are essential to our Annual Conference and year-long programming. Committee Members and Liaisons have access to a discounted two-day registration rate of $160.00.

NEW! Scholarships

Operating Budget Scholarship
Discounted registration is available on a sliding scale for TAIS member schools with annual operating budgets of or less than $5,000,000. Please email Sarah at [email protected] with the following information for consideration of an Operating Budget Scholarship.

  • Name and email of the primary school contact for discussion of finances and discounts
  • Name and email of the primary school contact for registration
  • The school’s annual operating budget for the 2024-2025 school year
  • Number of faculty at the school
  • Approximate number of people who will be registering using the discount
  • Anticipated registration date

New Attendees Scholarship
Any school sending two or more attendees to our conference from a school that has not attended our Annual Conference in 2021, 2022, 2023, or 2024 is eligible for a 15% discount on registration. Please email Sarah at [email protected] with the following information for consideration of a New Attendees Scholarship.

Projected Professional Development Hours

Attendance for both days = 11 hours
Attendance on Monday only = 7.5 hours 

TAIS Board-Approved Cancellation Policy
Attendees will receive a full refund for an in-person conference if they cancel up to six weeks prior to the event and a 50% refund up to four weeks before the event. Refunds are not possible after four weeks prior to the event due to the costs incurred for food orders, hotel contracts, venue costs, and other administrative and setup fees. All refunds will reflect a 15% administration fee.
