Workshop Description: While TAIS consists of a wide range of different school types and sizes, there’s one thing we all have in common: It’s our People that makes the biggest difference. And, it’s never been harder to win the war for talent. The journey to authentic excellence requires a radical and fanatical commitment to talent that goes well beyond HR compliance and job postings. We have to become exceptionally disciplined about recruiting and retaining educators who have the right skills, credentials, and especially attitude. In this workshop we will share proven strategies to attract more qualified applicants to your school and how to elevate your value proposition to sustain a high quality faculty. 

Target Audience: Heads of School, Associate/Assistant Heads of School, Directors of Operations, Human Resources Directors, Deans of Faculty, Division Heads, and Board Members. Teams from schools are strongly encouraged to attend to work together on a master plan, although this is not required.

Scott Barron, Chief Reinvention Officer of School Growth
Scott Barron is an experienced educator, entrepreneur, and author recognized as a leading voice advocating for and encouraging those who lead schools. He is the Chief Reinvention Officer of School Growth LLC and the Executive Director of the Educators Fellowship. Scott earned an M.Ed from Johns Hopkins University, along with a B.A. in Religion and a B.S. in Computer Science from Mars Hill University. He has spoken at events across the globe as a leadership expert on relational ecosystems and strategic wisdom.



Tammy Barron, President of School Growth
Tammy Barron is an expert in growing schools, especially in developing a disciplined, data-driven approach to enrollment strategy and management.   She is a life-long educator who has served at all levels of school leadership. Her research into organizational design and decision making has enabled schools to overcome the barriers to growth to achieve greater revenue and joy. She is the author of multiple resources for educators, including “Year Round Enrollment Management” and “Building Faculty Engagement to Grow.”
