Sunday, November 7 and Monday, November 8 at Christ Presbyterian Academy in Nashville

Sunday, November 7 Keynote Speaker
Pete Dunlap completed his undergraduate work in Physics and earned a Masters in Science in Education before beginning his teaching career. Pete taught in public and independent schools in the Virgin Islands, Ecuador, and the United Kingdom. He returned to the United States to begin a career as a software engineer during which time he worked on apps for education, healthcare, and gig economy. Pete noticed that he and his coworkers were working in an environment full of distractions.  Pete’s concern about distraction, inefficient multitasking, and a mindless approach to work led to his creation of the Digital Detangler, a book, blog, course, and approach to confronting distraction and bringing wellness to our use of technology.  As an expert in both technology and wellness, he is employed by schools, large universities, and companies such as United Way to train employees and bring efficiency and sanity to the workplace. In addition to founding Digital Detangler, he has created ScrollStopper, a Chrome extension, and is a meditation teacher on Insight Timer

Monday, November 8 Keynote Speaker
Jada Monica Drew is passionate about working with leaders and serving as a catalyst for growth. When people think of Jada, they think results, impact, innovation, and community. Her work in the independent school sector includes serving as a recurring NCAIS keynote speaker, keynote for The Heads' Network, workshop facilitator at the Global Forum on Girls' Education, and a consultant for several schools in North Carolina and Virginia. Jada is the CEO of Social Designs, a leadership and diversity firm, and the visionary of the Bloom Innovative Solutions for Inclusion conference. TAIS Biennial Conference Pricing
Pricing updates include group and early registration discounts as well as an option for a one-day only attendance pass. Conference registration will open this summer. Group discounts are not available to schools that are not TAIS members.

Both keynote speakers will offer their books at a discounted rate during the conference registration process.

We are currently working to secure specially-priced room blocks at hotels in the Greater Nashville area and finalizing the form for TAIS member school faculty, staff, and administrators to submit session proposals. Please stay tuned for that information. In the meantime, please check out our exciting upcoming events for the remainder of this academic year!
